Let’s start on a Monday. Over a thousand Detroiters find themselves in one specific place: A four-story building made of the usual stuff (big windows, marble façade, steel). Really, it doesn’t say much from the outside. There’s no neon sign saying “open,” but the lot is full and the handles on the revolving doors are still warm at 8:56 a.m.

What’s the motivation? Why did you come in? Good clients, a paycheck, benefits, a nice cafeteria, clean bathrooms? Maybe all of the above. But that’s not very romantic.

You’re here because you want to be. You admire the people you work with because they do something better than you do. And you do something better than they do.

You’re here because you have an idea. And you’re about to make it happen.
